Tuesday is the last chance for qualified voters to vote in their party’s Runoff Primary Elections. Although both political parties have races to be decided, only the Republican Party has two local county races to be decided – that of Pct. 1 County Commissioner and the countywide Republican Party County Chairman.
Voters should note that only those who have not voted in either primary previously, or those who voted in the Republican Party General Primary, may vote in the election of these two local positions. To further complicate matters, only those registered voters in Commissioners Pct. 1 can vote for a candidate in that race.

That number includes both Democrats and Republicans, indicating a drastic drop from the General Primary Election on March 3, when, between the two parties, 1,417 ballots were cast early in person.
