The 7th-grade Lady Tigers played in an East Texas Hoops tournament in Mount Vernon on Saturday and finished 2nd. To get to the final game, the Lady Tigers were victorious over the Lady Mambas, with the final score of 43-13. They won a tough-fought game against Guard Up Lady Hoopers from Oklahoma, 21-18. In the Championship game, the Lady Tigers battled back from a 13-point deficit at the half to bring the score within one, but fell short to Fruitvale 35-31. Great job, Lady Tigers.
