The Haunted Trails at the Alamo Mission Museum of Franklin County grounds open Oct. 28 for three nights of spooky, heart-jolting fun. Saturday will add an afternoon attraction: a gathering of Fiero car owners displaying their classics.
The Haunted Trails open at dark, 7:30 p.m., and close at 10 p.m. Oct. 28, 29, & 30. The organizers utilize lots of local talent for their surprise frights along the pedestrian-only walking trails.
The walking trails are recommended for ages eight and over; those 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Parents who choose to bring younger children should be prepared to carry them since the trail does not accommodate rolling carriers. Blacklight bulbs help light the trails.
Face your fears as you explore the trails and find what is waiting for you in the shadows!
History, horsepower, and Halloween fun combine Friday, Oct. 30, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. with the gathering of 20 or more Pontiac Fiero owners and other automotive enthusiasts at the museum’s grounds. View and talk with enthusiasts about the short-lived 1984-1988 production of the Fiero that took the design and engine from a fuel-efficient commuter to a more powerful two-seater and the first of its kind produced in the U.S.A. This car remains popular among collectors and hobbyists.
