For the first time, two Franklin County 4-H members have been selected to attend National 4-H Congress. Addison Poynter and Sullivan Belew will represent Texas 4-H at the event in Atlanta, Georgia, this November, marking a milestone for the local 4-H program.
National 4-H Congress brings together top 4-H members from across the country for leadership training, educational workshops, community service, and cultural experiences. Delegates also have the chance to connect with peers from other states and share ideas.
Poynter and Belew earned the opportunity through their involvement, achievements, and leadership in Texas 4-H. They will join hundreds of youth leaders from across the nation and return home with new ideas to share with their clubs and communities.
Congratulations to Addison and Sullivan on this outstanding accomplishment and for making Franklin County 4-H history. Their selection is not only a proud moment for their families and club, but also an inspiration for younger 4-H members across Franklin County.
