Easter ham pickup is underway now until 2 PM at the Masonic Lodge, S. Service Rd. to I-30 in Mount Vernon.
The fundraising event for scholarships and other expenses for the local lodge, or pre-sold with 255 hams going to local-area families and organizations.
Lodge members have been up since around 5 o'clock this morning, stalking the fires and getting the hams on to smoke.
