Grab your lucky horseshoe, don your fanciest hat and get ready to play Bingo for a chance in the Winners’ Circle, because the Mount Vernon Key Club is off to the races with its 4th Annual Designer Handbag Bingo.
Save the date for Key Club’s spring fundraiser on Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Glove Factory in downtown Mount Vernon. The coveted tickets to this historically sold-out event will go live at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 26 online through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com.
Individual tickets are $50 each and include 8 rounds of bingo, dinner, dessert, 2 drink tickets and door prizes. Reserved tables of 8 seats are also offered for $500, and are available by contacting Frankie Cooper at 903-588-5067 or when tickets go live online. Special bingo cards for the Louis Vuitton final round will be available to purchase for $10 each the night of the event.
All proceeds from the event will fund Key Club’s partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which gives free books to local children from birth to the age of five. Currently, 141 children in Franklin County receive a monthly book from Key Club and the Imagination Library. In total, more than 3.1 million children around the world are inspired to read by this non-profit program.
