Kitty Ramsay grew up in Tyler, Texas and graduated from SMU with a degree in political science. After graduation she moved to Washington D. C. where she worked on Capitol Hill for two years before moving home to Tyler to work for KLTV. She and her husband, Lanny, have three children and 12 grandchildren. Kitty believes it has been the richest of blessings to raise a family in a Norman Rockwell town like Mt. Vernon.
