Run Report – The March Run (Activity Call) Report is attached. 61% of the call were in the county, which is consistent with what we have experienced over the last several months. We are seeing an increase in fire related calls, particularly grassfires.
ISO Report – Chief Sheffield shared that he received the ISO report for the city yesterday. He also provided a brief synopsis and will forward the full report ASAP. He indicated that the city would maintain an ISO rating of 4. The report evaluated the number and types of equipment/apparatus, training, workforce availability, and water supply and pressure. The city scored every high in the water supply and pressure, but the report suggested improvements in the type and number of apparatus/equipment (trucks). Training has improved and will continue to improve now that we have gone to a fulltime professional department. Overall, the report was very good. Obviously, the goal is to maintain and possibly lower the ISO rating as the city grows.
