Alliance Bank Announces Craig Roberts as Incoming CEO, Marking the Bridge into the Bank's Second Century
Roberts Brings Nearly Three Decades of Community Banking Leadership
SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX, Alliance Bank announced today that Craig Roberts has become the bank's next Chief Executive Officer, effective October 16, 2026.
The leadership transition comes as Alliance Bank approaches its 100th year in business, positioning Roberts to lead the bank into its second century.

Roberts joins Alliance Bank from Guaranty Bank & Trust, division of Glacier Bancorp, Inc., bringing with him a career in banking and a longstanding familiarity with Alliance Bank's board, staff, and the communities it serves. In his new role, he will lead the bank's continued expansion into new markets, investment in technology, and development of the next generation of Texas bankers, while preserving the relationship-first approach that has defined Alliance Bank since 1927.

Alliance Bank will mark the transition with a series of community-facing events in the weeks ahead across its five Texas counties, Hopkins, Hunt, Rockwall, Franklin, and Collin, with branches located in Sulphur Springs, Greenville, Rockwall, Mount Vernon, Plano, Commerce, and Wolfe City.
