Mount Vernon ISD is launching its new Teacher Spotlight campaign, a multi-year project celebrating the dedicated educators who make a difference in students’ lives each day. The first installment introduces the community to Mount Vernon Middle School’s CTE teachers, highlighting their passion for teaching and the hands-on opportunities they provide students. The series is produced entirely by Mount Vernon High School A/V Practicum students under the guidance of CTE teacher Mr. Silvas, with students managing every stage—from interviews and filming to editing and final production.
