The coronation of the 2026 Sheriff’s Posse of Franklin County Rodeo Royalty will be conducted in a ceremony at 7:40 p.m. tonight, Sept. 6, at the Sheriff's Posse Arena.
Ten contestants are vying for five titles and an assortment of prizes, including a college scholarship for the winner of the Queen Division.
The group of contestants ranges from toddlers to 19 this year. Each competed in horsemanship, modeling, and responses to age-appropriate questions and impromptu speech on August 29. Their appearance and comportment during the previous two nights of the local rodeo were also noted.
The current title holders are seen in the accompanying photo along with the contestants listed below by age division:
