Franklin County 4-H is ready to welcome its youngest members for a year of learning, friendship, and fun! Local families are invited to attend the Clover Kids Kickoff Meeting on Thursday, September 17, from 5:45–6:45 p.m. at the Franklin County Airport.
Clover Kids provides young children with an introduction to 4-H through fun, age-appropriate, hands-on activities. It gives children an opportunity to make new friends, explore new interests, and begin developing confidence and important life skills while discovering all that 4-H has to offer.
During the kickoff, Clover Kids will participate in a meet-and-greet, learn the 4-H Pledge, and enjoy games with other young members. They will also begin learning what the four H’s—Head, Heart, Hands, and Health—mean and how those values are an important part of 4-H.
The kickoff is a great opportunity for families who are new to 4-H, as well as those who already have older children involved in the program. Come meet new friends, have fun, and start a new 4-H adventure!
