Mark is Tom and Laurie Ramsay's second son, a member of MVHS class of 1992, an accountant, an entrepreneur, and the founder of LedgerCore Financial, a Dallas-based business management, virtual CFO, financial reporting, and tax advising firm serving medium- to small-capped businesses and high net worth individuals across the nation.  After graduating from Baylor University in 1997, Mark worked in New York City for the nation's second largest entertainment business management firm, Altman, Greenfield, & Selvaggi CPAs, where he "learned the business" for six years preparing tax returns and supervising the bookkeeping for clients such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Dylan McDermott, Jon Lovitz, Kathy Najimy, Ron Silver and a hundred other similar actors.  From Mt. Vernon to Waco to New York to Dallas... from Lotus 1-2-3 to AI-managed spreadsheets... from DOS-based accounting software to the rise of the ubiquitous QuickBooks Online...from all records being kept on reems of paper to paperless offices... from a dress code of three-piece suits worn in conference rooms to casualwear in front of a Zoom screen... the changes we have experienced over the past 3 decades in how business is conducted in this country is astonishing and Mark is here to talk about it by offering tips, giving insights, saving you some research, and - hopefully - making some sense of the often nonsensical!
